An Icon of the American West...
The American Bison has long been a bittersweet icon of the west. Rugged,
powerful, beautiful and deadly, these large grazers once roamed the western plains by the millions. After being nearly wiped
out, wild Bison have come back to roam small pockets of the west, thanks to conservation efforts. They are also now ranched
for food, and Bison meat provides a healthy, delicious alternative to beef. These jawbone wall hangings come from ranch raised
Bison, recycled into works of art in an effort to use parts of the animal that would normally be discarded.
